Junior Low-Code Engineer

Sixth Generation, a low-code application development company based in Kontich, Antwerp is seeking for a full-time low-code engineer to join their growing team.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: You should have familiarity working with low-code tools and platforms such as Retool, Appsmith, Make, as well as six months of experience using front-end languages or libraries like React or Angular. Basic knowledge about applications structure (front-end/back-end), APIs & HTTP protocols.
- Curiosity: We are looking for someone who is open to learning and exploring new ideas and approaches. Attracted by efficiency, optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Communication: Strong communication skills are crucial, as we work closely with our clients. Dutch fluency, good speaking and understanding of English.
- Attention to detail: You should be meticulous and dedicated to creating high-quality work that is optimised for the success of our clients. We love people that are passionate about UX.
What You'll Do:
- Use low-code tools such as Retool, Appsmith and Make to build low-code applications for clients and internal projects.
- Integrate third-party tools to extend the functionality of our applications.
- Work closely with clients to make strategic decisions for their business.
- Continually evaluate, revise and improve the Sixth Generation tech stack and processes as the organisation grows

Who Will Be Prioritised:
- Candidates with experience using low-code tools to build business applications will be given priority.
- Experience creating beautiful interfaces in low-code applications will be considered a plus.
- Candidates with basic knowledge of Javascript and experience setting up third-party systems will be prioritised.
